El Detroit Grand Prix de IndyCar ya tiene fecha para su edición de 2027
DETROIT — (Alan Vanegas) Aunque el campeonato 2026 del automovilismo de IndyCar Series sigue en curso, ya se revelaron las fechas de la primera fase de la temporada 2027, que incluye el Detroit Grand Prix y otras siete competencias. (ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)
Como cada año, el Detroit Grand Prix se celebrará aproximadamente a mitad de la temporada, con la edición 2027 programada del viernes 4 al domingo 6 de junio.
El Detroit Grand Prix 2027 iniciará el viernes 4 de junio con las prácticas libres, mientras que el sábado 5 se llevarán a cabo las sesiones de clasificación y el domingo 6 la carrera final, en las calles del centro de la ‘Ciudad del Motor’.
De esta manera, el Detroit Grand Prix 2027 marcará la octava carrera del campeonato y, como cada año, se celebrará durante el fin de semana posterior a la popular competencia Indianapolis 500.
El español Alex Palou llegará al Detroit Grand Prix 2027 como el actual ganador de la carrera, luego de conquistar la edición 2026 el domingo 31 de mayo, en una competencia en la que los estadounidenses Kyle Kirkwood y Graham Rahal completaron el podio.

The Detroit Grand Prix sets its 2027 date
Although the 2026 IndyCar Series season is still underway, the dates for the first part of the 2027 season have already been revealed, including the Detroit Grand Prix and seven other races.
As it does every year, the Detroit Grand Prix will take place around the middle of the season, with the 2027 edition scheduled for Friday, June 4 through Sunday, June 6.
The 2027 Detroit Grand Prix will begin on Friday, June 4, with free practice, while qualifying sessions will take place on Saturday, June 5, followed by the main race on Sunday, June 6, on the streets of downtown Detroit, the ‘Motor City.’
The 2027 Detroit Grand Prix will therefore be the eighth race of the championship and, as it does every year, will take place on the weekend following the popular Indianapolis 500.
Spanish driver Alex Palou will enter the 2027 Detroit Grand Prix as the reigning winner of the race after winning the 2026 edition on Sunday, May 31, in a race where Americans Kyle Kirkwood and Graham Rahal completed the podium.
