Elías M. Gutiérrez: In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, I was honored at Comerica Park prior to the Detroit Tigers game on September 16, 2022.
“Game Changers for the months of September/October 2022. Our organization launched the Game Changers program in 2021 as a platform to celebrate amazing local leaders who have a profound impact on the lives of children through education, wellness and / or sports programming. Throughout the year, the Tigers and Red Wings honor those leaders during special networking events at Comerica Park.”
“What a surprise! I received this recognition with humility. The work we have done in the community we have done in silence, without seeking applause. Just to serve who needs.
“I have not done it alone, we have a team of people who are very concerned about the community and who help me make this work of helping disadvantaged families, children and women a reality. This recognition is for our entire team.
