Investigan tiroteo en la autopista I-94 cerca de Livernois en Detroit
DETROIT — Las autoridades estatales investigan un tiroteo ocurrido en la autopista I-94, a la altura de Livernois, en Detroit, durante la madrugada del pasado domingo 6 de septiembre. (ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)
De acuerdo con el informe del Segundo Distrito de la Policía Estatal de Michigan, el incidente ocurrió poco antes de las 2:00 a.m. del pasado domingo, cuando un vehículo presuntamente siguió a otro antes de colocarse a su lado y dispararle mientras ambos circulaban en dirección oeste por la I-94, a la altura de Livernois.
Pese a que el incidente involucró un disparo con arma de fuego, la Policía Estatal de Michigan indicó que la víctima no resultó herida.
Tras el incidente, los carriles en dirección oeste de la I-94 fueron cerrados a la altura de W. Grand Blvd., mientras las autoridades realizaban una búsqueda de evidencias relacionadas con el tiroteo.

Ante ello, el Segundo Distrito de la Policía Estatal de Michigan pidió la colaboración de cualquier persona que haya transitado por la I-94 o la I-96, en la zona de W. Grand Blvd. y Livernois, alrededor de la 1:49 a.m. y que pueda aportar información sobre lo ocurrido.
Shooting under investigation on I-94 near Livernois in Detroit
State authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred on I-94, near Livernois, in Detroit, during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 6.
According to the Michigan State Police Second District, the incident occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m., when one vehicle allegedly followed another before pulling alongside it and firing a shot as both vehicles traveled westbound on I-94 near Livernois.
Although the incident involved a firearm, Michigan State Police said the victim was not injured.
After the incident, the westbound lanes of I-94 were closed at W. Grand Blvd. while authorities searched the freeway for evidence related to the shooting.
The Michigan State Police Second District is asking anyone who traveled on I-94 or I-96 near W. Grand Blvd. and Livernois around 1:49 a.m. and may have information about the incident to come forward.
