Marathon’s Detroit Refinery to hold Back-To School Giveaway at Southwest Detroit’s Kemeny Center.
WHAT: Marathon Petroleum Company’s Detroit refinery is sponsoring ‘Back to School Blitz’, an event that will invite students, parents and community members to celebrate a return to the classroom.
To encourage family and community fun, Marathon secured all Detroit vendors—most of whom are from the 48217 area. All guests will experience free blow-up games and rides for kids, back to school supplies, food, entertainment, haircuts for kids, and family/parent resources.
Fueling Detroit programs focus on bringing family fun and much-needed resources to the community at monthly events through October. All events will include free food from local vendors, PPE at the door, while supplies last, and family-friendly entertainment.
