(english version below)

Detroit’s I-75 freeway will face major closures in the coming days
The I-75 freeway, which runs through all of Michigan and extends down to the state of Florida, will undergo major closures in the coming days, specifically in the city of Detroit, near Melvindale. Drivers who regularly use this route should prepare for detours and delays.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced in a press release that several segments of I-75 will be closed starting this weekend due to maintenance work on four bridges, which will receive a protective coating.
According to the notice, the first closure on I-75 will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, and continue until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, affecting the northbound lanes from Schaefer Road to I-96.
“The posted detour for northbound I-75 traffic coming from Monroe County will be to take northbound I-275, then eastbound I-94 to reach I-75 in Detroit. Local traffic may use M-85 (Fort Street) as an alternative”, MDOT suggested.
The following weekend, from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20 to 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, northbound I-75 will be closed from I-96 to Schaefer Road.
“The posted detour will be northbound I-75, westbound I-96, westbound I-94 and southbound I-275 to I-75. Local traffic may again use M-85 (Fort Street) as an alternative”, MDOT suggested.
The closures will especially affect drivers entering Detroit from the south, including those coming from Ohio or from cities like Monroe, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, and other parts of the Downriver area. They will also impact those who use I-75 to connect with other highways or to reach downtown Detroit.
